Skyler is client focused and enjoys working with clients of all sizes to provide unique solutions to their problems. Having both a law degree and M.B.A. allows Skyler to foster connections with the firm’s business clients and provide them with comprehensive representation and support.
Skyler has experience across a broad range of practice areas, including insurance defense, products liability, personal injury, deliberate intent, constitutional violations, and criminal law.
Prior to joining the firm, Skyler worked as a litigation associate at Steptoe and Johnson, PLLC. Additionally, she served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Frank W. Volk of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
A West Virginia native, Skyler graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law, where she won the Lugar Trial Association Competition and was the Chief Justice of the Moot Court. She also earned her M.B.A. from the West Virginia University’s College of Business and Economics. Prior to law school, Skyler earned her undergraduate degree from Mars Hill University, where she majored in Political Science and played on the women’s basketball team.
